Please read — how this lock works
This website is a static site: it has no server and no database, so there is nowhere truly secure to store a password in this kind of site — and for that reason no password, admin code or secret of any kind is built into the page or its files. Instead, the password you set during first-time setup is kept only as a scrambled (hashed) copy in this browser on this device, together with the admin Gmail you typed during setup — which is why the login fields always start blank and you type both yourself. The plain password is never written into the site's files, and there is no built-in or default password anywhere in the code.
That makes this a basic lock, not real server-side security. It keeps casual visitors out of the settings, but someone with access to the site's files or hosting account could still get past it, and the login does not carry over to a different phone or browser — you set it up once per device. Keep your Netlify account itself protected with a strong password and two-factor login; that is the account that truly controls the site.
About OTP: you can log in with a password or with a 6-digit OTP, and a password change always needs the Forgot Password OTP step first. Because this static site has no server or mail service, an OTP cannot be emailed automatically — when you tap “Get OTP”, the code is generated in this browser and shown on this device only, valid for 5 minutes and for one use. Real emailed OTP would need an auth service such as Firebase Auth or Netlify Identity added on top of this static site.

Manage tools
Rename any tool, rewrite its description, move it to another category, or hide it from the home page. Tools you added yourself can also be removed completely.
Add your own tool
Add a new card to any category. It opens the link you give — for example another page, a form, or a tool you like.
Publish your updates
Download the updated site file, open your Netlify site, go to Deploys, and drag the file in. The address stools.netlify.app does not change. Your admin Gmail and password are not inside this file — they stay in this browser, so set up your login once on each device you use.
Export settings keeps a small backup of just your changes. Import it here anytime to bring those changes back, then download the site file to publish.

Once a password has been created, it can only be changed after OTP verification — the same rule as Forgot Password. There is no direct change with just the old password. The admin Gmail is fixed for this site and cannot be changed here.
